Parking Information

The Rideau Canoe Club has a small, member only parking lot. To help you drop off/pick up your Canoe Kids in a safe, efficient way RCC has developed a new Canoe Kid parking system. 

Please, drive slowly, watch for pedestrians and make sure you know the parking lot rules.

To drop-off or pick-up your Canoe Kids:

1. ​5-minute Parking:  In the summer months from 6-9 am and from 3 – 6 pm select parking spots will be reserved for 10-minute drop offs. You can park your car and drop off/collect your child to/from Canoe Kids’ staff. 
2. “Express Delivery”: Parents who register with CK staff for this type of pick up can remain in their car in either the “roundabout” or in designated parking spots (spots facing the Canoe Club) at specified times. CK staff will retrieve kids directly from parents’ vehicles in the morning and will deliver kids to parents in the afternoon. 

• Express Drop off - 8:30 AM - 9:00 AM
• Express Pick up - 4:00 PM - 4:30 PM

To stay at the Club:
​If you want to stay longer than 10 minutes there are several free parking options around the Canoe Club:

1. Hog's Back Park parking lot - 600m, 7 minute walk
2. Rideauview Mall on 885 Meadowlands, North West Side (after 4:30) - 550m, 7 minute walk
3. On Prince of Wales Dr - from 350m, 4 minute walk
4. North Side of Nesbitt Place - 2 minute walk 
5. Please Note - The parking lot at the Lock Station should not be used by Rideau Canoe Club participants.
